el A Pachuta, President, Credential Check Corporation
Michael A. Pachuta has been an entrepreneur and change agent for a number of businesses, non-profit institutions and professional organizations.
Currently, Mr. Pachuta is president of Credential Check Corporation, a global provider of Applicant Screening Services to corporations and financial institutions. He is also vice-president of Summit Group Holdings, LLC, a diverse investment and management firm focusing on commercial real estate and under-valued business assets.
Previously, Mr. Pachuta’s roles have included Special Projects Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Smith Security Corporation, the 35th largest company of its type in the United States.
Mr. Pachuta has served as a member for numerous civic and professional organizations. Highlights include The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (Board Member), the National Association of Professional Background Screeners – NAPBS (Committee Chair), Meadowbrook Valley Homeowners Association (President), American Society for Industrial Security (Member), Downtown Detroit Security Executive Council (Secretary), Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce (Member), Michigan Banker’s Association (Partner), Senior High Youth Group Counselor at Kirk in the Hills, Men of the Kirk (Board Member) and Sigma Pi Fraternity (Social Chair and President).
Mr. Pachuta attended Oakland University majoring in Management Information Systems with a minor in Computer Science.
Megan Consolo, Client Relationships Manager, Credential Check Corporation
Megan Consolo joined the Credential Check Corporation team in 2007 and has held various roles in Business Development, Client Service, and most recently Client Relationships. Through her role as Client Relationships Manager, Megan focuses on building and maintaining relationships with clients. Megan guides the clients through the background screening process in regards to compliance, return on investment, and reducing turnover by selecting the right background screening solution.
Megan is an active member of Automation Alley, serving as an ambassador in 2008. Prior to joining the Credential Check Corporation team in 2007, Megan was a Mortgage Banker and Team Leader at Quicken Loans, Inc.
Megan graduated from The University of Michigan in 2006 with a Bachelor of Art in Sociology and Human Resources. Megan was an active member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma national sorority at U of M and served as the chapter’s Sisterhood Participation chairwoman.
When not working, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and son!
Timothy D Whiting, Vice President, Credential Check Corporation
Timothy Whiting has eight years experience with Credential Check. Timothy began his career with Credential Check as a Special Projects Coordinator and has developed into a variety of roles within the Applicant Screening Division of Credential Check. Timothy has implemented a Compliance Program and a Supplier Diversity Program within Credential Check.
Timothy is active in the community with the Susan G Komen Three Day Walk, and the Pontiac Rescue Mission. Timothy received his bachelor’s degree from Oakland University, Rochester, MI.
Timothy is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, Human Resources Association of Greater Detroit and the National Association of Professional Background Screeners.
Sally-Ann Cooke, Guest Blogger
Sally-Ann Cooke was selected by RECON Management Systems in 2005 and currently holds the position of Consultant. Sally-Ann completed her Masters of Science in Human Resources and Organizational Development at Eastern Michigan University and Bachelor of Administrative Studies specializing in Human Resources Management at York University in Canada. Sally-Ann has been recognized for her outstanding academic achievement and was selected as a member of the International Honor Society of Beta Gama Sigma. Sally-Ann successfully obtained her PHR and CHRP certifications.
At present, Sally-Ann is responsible for leading client projects that include but are not limited to: developing and/or modifying employee handbooks, creating and administering Opinion Surveys© and developing tools used in the selection process. Sally-Ann also leads internal projects including the development and maintenance of RECON’s website.
Sally-Ann is married with two girls, enjoys learning, laughing and spending time with her family.
